Thornbury Park Friends

A Community Interest Company providing care and support for Thornbury Park in Isleworth, TW7.

ABOUT US

Thornbury Park is a community open space connecting Isleworth and Hounslow in West London.

It was originally a gravel pit but is now a substantial
open grassland park with woodland areas. It has a skate park, a children’s play ground, an outdoor gym, a hard play area for Basketball, football and netball and a community orchard.

Back in the 1960s it featured in the Beatles film A Hard Day’s Night. These days it provides a vital green open space for a multicultural community in a bustling urban environment.
